How do I access a class on Live-Stream yoga class?

We are using the Zoom.us platform. It is a free service for you to use to join us for the live-stream. Sign up on the schedule page at least 1 hour before class start time. You will be sent an email with the link to the live-stream class about 15 minutes before class.

If you use your computer or laptop, click or copy the link into your browser to join. If you use your phone or a tablet, download the Zoom app to access.

Please gather all of the props that you'll need before joining the class. Arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled time. Please link your audio and video option so that we can have a little personal connection at the beginning and end of class. Your device will be muted by us when we begin class.

Please call us if you have any questions. 503-440-1649

How do I attend a Seasonal Beach Yoga class?

Please register for Beach Yoga in advance online; space is limited. The class will be weather dependent and at the discretion of the teacher.

We will meet at Whale Park, the corner of Hemlock Street and 3rd - the North end of Downtown Cannon Beach.

Please bring a beach towel or beach blanket to use as your mat. If you like extra towels or blankets to sit on, please bring them. Please dress in layers.

If it's your first time at attending one of our classes, you will be asked to sign a Liability Waiver.

If you plan to pay for class at the beach, please bring cash. We will have a square reader, but the signal can be sketchy at the beach.

What should I wear to class?

Come as you are! Fancy yoga clothes are not necessary. Comfortable clothes that you can move in are preferable: Sweat pants, board shorts, t-shirts, tank tops.

Where should I park?

All parking is Free in Cannon Beach. Street parking is available on Hemlock and Spruce Streets. Public Parking lot is at Spruce and 2nd.

May I modify my practice for injuries?

We encourage and have many props available to modify a practice. Please let your instructor know of any physical issues that may need special care. We recommend rest for acute injuries and recent surgeries. Please check with your doctor.

How often should I practice yoga?

This is a personal choice based on your intentions for your practice. As with anything, the more often you practice, the more skilled you become. Disclaimer: a daily practice could sneak up on you.

May I eat before class?

It is preferable to practice on an empty stomach. Please avoid a heavy meal before class. Think of it like swimming - wait at least an hour before jumping in the pool or onto your mat.

What should I bring with me?

You may bring your personal yoga mat and any other props that you use in your home practice. However, we have a fully stocked studio with mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets and an assortment of other props. We do not charge extra for the use of a mat or props.
